Set up two-factor authentication
In mocoVoice, you can use two-factor authentication (2FA) with an authenticator app. When logging in, you will need to enter your password and a 6-digit code generated by the app.
ImportantTwo-factor authentication is not available if you log in with Google. Contact support if you want to disconnect Google login and switch to email and password login.
Steps
1. Click the user icon in the bottom left corner
After logging in, click the user icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. It is at the very bottom of the sidebar.
2. Turn on “Two-factor authentication (2FA)”
Find Two-factor authentication (2FA) near the bottom of the “About you” screen. Click the switch to turn it on and open the setup dialog.
3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app
Open an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or 1Password) on your phone and scan the QR code displayed on the screen.
If you cannot scan the QR code, enter the “Manual entry code” shown on the screen into your authenticator app.
4. Enter the verification code to activate
Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app into the Verification code field and click Verify and activate.
Once activated, the toggle in the “About you” modal turns blue and says Active. The next time you log in, you will be prompted for the 6-digit code from your app.
Turn off two-factor authentication
Click the toggle again to show the deactivation confirmation dialog. If you set it up again later, you must scan a new QR code.
